Hello Visitor,
Seasons Greetings
The Coalition of Celebrant Associations (CoCA) combines the membership of 12 celebrant Associations in Australia and acts in the best interest of celebrancy when liaising with the Marriage Law & Celebrants Section in Canberra.
An overview of 2015
Some of CoCA's work this year has been:
-
Successfully lobbying for PDF writable marriage forms saving you time and money
- Conducting surveys asking your position on same sex marriage, marriage forms and ongoing professional development
- Raising awareness with MP’s and Senators of our industry
- Providing celebrancy expertise to the VET Review of the Certificate IV in Celebrancy Training
- Raising awareness of forced and underage marriage issues
- Continuing to share information of the differences State by State of Births, Deaths & Marriages
The twelve CoCA celebrant member associations Australia wide, who come together as one voice on issues affecting you, have welcomed your input into our representations during 2015 and we look forward to joining together again in 2016 to actively promote positive outcomes for all celebrants.
What are your concerns?
Whether you are a member of a CoCA association or not, you can use our website to let us know what's on your mind.
