Hello Visitor,
The Coalition of Celebrant Associations is an “association of associations”. CoCA listens to all Commonwealth marriage celebrants and independent civil celebrants.
Initial Results of National Celebrant Survey
CoCA would like to thank all the celebrants who participated in completing the survey, and Marriage Law and Celebrant Section of the Attorney-General’s Department for distributing information about the survey in their Autumn Celebrant News.
CoCA volunteers have loaded the Survey Monkey files for viewing here on the website.

Phase 2 - analysing this information from the perspective of
- the effectiveness of the 2003 changes to the Commonwealth Marriage Celebrant Program
- recommendations for initial training for aspiring celebrants
- recommendations for continuing professional development for independent celebrants
- recommendations for Work Force development for independent celebrants
- recommendations to government in relation to the Commonwealth Marriage Celebrant Program
CoCA Delegates are currently working on this material, which will require some time to analyse.

One of CoCA's key roles is to represent Commonwealth marriage celebrants concerns, needs and suggestions to the Attorney-General and the Attorney-General's Department and through it Protocol with the Department to provide advice on the development, implementation and review of the Commonwealth Marriage Celebrant Program.
